Terms & Conditions

1. A valid UK driving licence MUST be produced on the first lessons or the lesson will not go ahead.
2. All driving lessons will start at the agreed time.
3. Strictly NO ALCOHOL or DRUGS to be taken before the lesson or the lesson will not go ahead and you will be charged for the full lesson.
4. Payment MUST be made in advance by 2 hours to secure your next lesson and will be collected on the first lesson.
   *Please DO NOT ask for credit as refusal often offends *
5. Any cheque payments returned unpaid will be subject to a £10 charge (to cover administration costs)
6. 48 hours notice MUST be given to cancel any lesson agreed or the lesson will be charged at the FULL hourly rate.
7. Any cancellations MUST be made in direct contact by telephone. Text message or email cancellations will NOT be accepted due to unreliable nature.
8. I cannot be held responsible for any tests being cancelled by the DSA due to illness or adverse weather conditions and my full charges will still apply.
9. Booking and Cancellations of a driving test will be subject to a £10 administration fee. Refunds for cancelled tests will be made available one month after date of cancellation.
10. You agree to sign for all lessons attended prior to the start of lesson.
11. Glasses or contact lenses MUST be worn at all times (if required).
12. Test dates are not a guarantee of test going ahead on the day in question. I reserve the right to cancel any test if I feel you are not of the standard expected of the DSA for the driving test.
13. I have a strict NO SMOKING policy in the vehicle. A stop can be arranged if requested by yourself and will come out of your lesson time.
14. Mobile phones are NOT under any circumstances to be used during lesson time in accordance with the new mobile phone laws.
15. I will not make any physical contact with you during the lesson except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. to maintain legal and safe control of the vehicle) unless consent is gained in advance for demonstration purpose only.
16. I will provide a clean and well maintained vehicle with appropriate learner plates for your lessons. The vehicle is also fitted with dual controls for added peace of mind for yourself.
